There was something about mirrors that unnerved Brian since he'd stepped into the Sintracorp building, a nagging feeling he couldn't put his finger on that got worse and worse as he kept using the Witch Paper.
It grabbed him on one of his trips to the 5th-floor bathroom, after crawling out of the vent that led him back to Club Mysterio, and, without thinking, he took out one of the sheets he'd been saving up and held it up toward his reflection.
He blinked, once, and found himself face to face with a stranger, staring right back at him, so odd and yet so familiar, the devilish figure he'd caught at the very corner of his vision; the man in the mirror tilted his face exactly the same way he did, and with a start, Brian realized it had been him all along.
