"That looks delicious," Diantha says, watching Augustine take yet another huge bite off the richly stuffed sandwich he's holding, "where did you get it?"
"Oh, Lysandre has been making those for me," Augustine replies, his mouth still half-full; he bites off another chunk of bread and cheese and eggs and some kind of tofu-based lunch "meat", and goes on, almost thoughtful, "He said I wasn't eating enough, something about my daily calorie intake."
The Kalos Champion hums at that, unsure of what to say; her mental image of Lysandre – tall, dark, brooding, and too busy listening to himself talk to care about others – feels so at odd with what she's just learned that she suspects there's more to it... just like she suspects Augustine is none the wiser about any of it, somehow.
