"You brought a spinda here?" Mr. Doshi asks, incredulous, when Brian meets up with him on the third floor and his partner pokémon nearly knocks a bunch of his tools off his desk.
Mr. Doshi's loudred shuffles over to try to pick some of the mess up, but only succeeds in sending the clumsy normal type into even more of a rampage, his eyes spiraling faster and faster as he tries in vain to regain his balance.
The automatic response Brian always gives – "What's wrong with spindas?" – dies on his lips when more metal parts and batteries go flying off to bang into the nearby walls, and both trainers have to intervene before it gets any worse.
