From where he's kneeling at his professor's feet, Lysandre's thoughts are a blur, a hazy cloud he's barely aware of; in any other state, he'd find it alarming, but as he is right now, there's only comfort to be found in being so far down within himself that he can only hear the people stopping to talk to Augustine as if they're speaking from underneath water.
"Well-behaved, is he," someone says, he thinks, and Augustine laughs in response, that warm, pleased laugh that's always full of the pride he gets from showing Lysandre off.
Then, there are fingers on his scalp, digging deep, and Lysandre melts a little further down, his eyelids fluttering, as Augustine murmurs, "He's a good pet alright."
