[Pokémon DPPt] Gravity
Jan. 18th, 2024 12:00 pmTitle: Gravity
Fandom: Pokémon Diamond & Pearl & Platinum
Pairing: Cyrus & Saturn
Rating: G
Summary: Like the sun to the planets of its solar system, it's Master Cyrus's gravity that pulls all of Team Galactic together.
Notes: Written for FanPrompt, for the prompt "gravity".
AO3 Link: Here.
Like the sun to the planets of its solar system, it's Master Cyrus's gravity that pulls all of Team Galactic together, keeps them all connected, orbiting around him and his grand speeches about the ideal world they can build together. Saturn knows that better than anyone: he could sit there and listen to him talk for hours, the same way his bronzor will float by his side without tiring, attentive to its trainer's needs.
They say you can polish bronzors so that they can reflect the truth; he thinks about that, in the aftermath, wishes he'd tried his hand at it so he could tear himself away from it all before it was too late. Even now, he can't entirely escape Master Cyrus's gravitational pull, still thinks of him that way, still clings to the blind devotion and admiration, the need to be needed, to make a change in the world alongside this odd, somber man he couldn't help being drawn to.
